A week in progress

On monday we were able to go the the Draper Utah Temple open house with the kids. We had such a great time. As we were getting ready for the day, Hyrum drug his feet all morning and all afternoon. I thought that he just wanted to stay home and play with his DS, but I was wrong. I finally got it out of him as I put him in his carseat. He had big tears rolling down his cheeks. "What's the Matter" I asked him and he cried "I am not ready to leave on my mission yet mom." Then it hit me, he had been telling the girls and I all day that he was going on a mission. I thought nothing of it until then. He has known that before you can serve a mission that you go through the Temple, and it was his time to go. He was so scared to leave us all, but in his little heart he would have gone. I think he was so excited to be able to stay with us!

After the Temple, we took all of the kids to roosters for dinner. They had these cool Wiki sticks that I think Nate had more fun with than the kids. He created these designer glasses that we all had to have. They are stylin!
Addie started the week with her Science project "Blowing Up". She and her Dad made what she called the Mentos Geyser. She worked hard on it and did a great job. Most of all she had a "blast"

The week ended on a great note. Our Nephew Nick (left) was baptized by his best friend Shorty (Right) on Saturday. This was a great day for our Family. Nick is such a great young man and we were so excited for him and his family.

  1. OHHHH Hyrum you are so sweet. You are already following in your father's footsteps in be willing to do that which is right yet hard.

I love your glasses. I am sure they will help you see things more clearly. Besides that they are really lovely. Nathan you could have saved some more by using this procedure rather than the surgery you had.

Glad your science progject worked out so well Addie.

Have a good week. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your posts. I love you very much and miss you just as much. Love you!
