On monday we were able to go the the Draper Utah Temple open house with the kids. We had such a great time. As we were getting ready for the day, Hyrum drug his feet all morning and all afternoon. I thought that he just wanted to stay home and play with his DS, but I was wrong. I finally got it out of him as I put him in his carseat. He had big tears rolling down his cheeks. "What's the Matter" I asked him and he cried "I am not ready to leave on my mission yet mom." Then it hit me, he had been telling the girls and I all day that he was going on a mission. I thought nothing of it until then. He has known that before you can serve a mission that you go through the Temple, and it was his time to go. He was so scared to leave us all, but in his little heart he would have gone. I think he was so excited to be able to stay with us!

OHHHH Hyrum you are so sweet. You are already following in your father's footsteps in be willing to do that which is right yet hard.
ReplyDeleteI love your glasses. I am sure they will help you see things more clearly. Besides that they are really lovely. Nathan you could have saved some more by using this procedure rather than the surgery you had.
Glad your science progject worked out so well Addie.
Have a good week. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to your posts. I love you very much and miss you just as much. Love you!
