Christmas Pictures

Christmas was unusual at best this year. Instead of Christmas eve being spent with Family, we had our First annual Christmas Eve at home. We missed our Grandma and Grandpa Joe, who are serving a Mission in Florida, and Grandma and Grandpa Ashment who were in the middle of a huge remodel. We look forward to being with everyone next year:) This year we watched a Christmas movie, went to see synchronized lights and read a new Christmas story. We loved the time together, but missed being with all of you. Mom and Dad were still up late making cinnamon rolls for Christmas breakfast and cleaning the house again...but some things never change. We are now looking for a way to get fresh Cinnamon rolls to Grandpa Joe in Florida. Had I had them ready a little earlier I would have sent them with Santa. But instead of Cinnamon Rolls, we hope you will settle for a little bit of Christmas Cheer from us. We love you and miss you much. Hope you will all enjoy the weekly blog and pictures. Merry Christmas, LOVE,

Christmas Morning 2008

Christmas morning was filled with many smiles and surprizes. The biggest surprize of all came when Mom and Dad told everyone we were going to have a BABY.....Kitten that is. Dad surprized Mom and the Kids with the cutest kitten. I wondered why he was out of bed trying to shovel the snow that had not fallen yet? I don't know who is more excited about the kitten? Dad, because he got to give us the surprize we all love, Mom who cried becuase I LOVE cats, Macy who bless her heart can't keep her hands off the little guy, or Eddie who now has a best friend. He laid his head on our arm as we held her, and licked her and waited so patiently for a turn to be with his new friend. All we know is life will never be the same. So much for the advice of never giving someone something living:)
